ART IN THE PARK!

OR

INTERGENERATIONAL ART-IN-THE-PARK!

This is a wonderful workshop that we offer, often (your choice) as an INTERGENERATIONAL ART experience -- bring older clients, with physical or developmental disabilities, to create alongside with students in Conservation Park, right by Napanee River. We START in the studio, to share the plan and a brief presentation with students to talk about their role as "helpers' (IF you choose INTERGEN ART) AND artists! We then walk (600 m) to the park, meeting the older group of adults (10-15) and starting an art activity -- often involving elements of nature, as well as rock painting to add to Community Rock Garden!

$30 (includes tax and all materials)/student

CHRISTMAS COOKIE-DECORATING, HOT CHOCOLATE, AND decorating WOODEN ORNAMENTS (Two!)

This has become an annual offering whereby students deocrate Christmas cookies (two each) and have hot chocolate (all from Ellena's), AND THEN decorate TWO wooden Christmas ornaments. One of of the ornaments goes home with the students WHILE THE SECOND ornament is hung by students SOMEWHERE IN THE COMMUNITY for a stranger to find! We talk about "art abandonment" and why we might leave a gift for a stranger to find...

Offered November and December - book ahead.
